BOYSTOWN SEASON 3 begun exactly where SEASON 2 has ended, at the New year's party for Emmett Mancini and Max Taylor's engagement. When bombs went off figuratively and literally, Rachel Carson and Marco Ciancio shattered the lives of many. The aftermath left me screaming at the top of my voice. Jake Biondi's pulled no punches. WHAATT?If you thought this brilliant Author was cruel last SEASON, hold on to your hat, for he has slain many *dragons* this time around. He was at his best. I felt as though I was on a run away train, with all the twists and turns this book has taken. At times I cussed like a drunken sailor, or I felt sick for the trauma this Author has put me through. I read the entire book wishing bodily harm to Jake Biondi. All of my prenotions about this book were blown out the water, by this clever Author's eloquently woven tale.
The Mancinis and The Ciancios continued their modern-day Hatfields and McCoys feud, but the stake has gotten higher. WOW, I did not see this one coming. I can't wait for the secret that bound them together, to be revealed to everyone. How explosive that would be? I was happy to see that Gino still wore his *white hat*, and even Carlo seemed likeable, but Marco, how I wanted to bitch-slap him.
As a matter of fact, I wanted to bitch-slap a lot of the characters this season. Derek, Keith, Shawn/Ben, Marco and Rachel were well developed three dimensional, multifaceted villains, that had me *all turned-up*. I was most surprised by Keith's secret, which cemented how magnificent a writer this author truly is.
My interest was piqued by the new characters Dustin and Jensen whom I already don't trust.
This exhilarating book, has captivated me and held me spellbound, from the first written word until the last. Its cliffhanger ending was EPIC. I may hate you right now Jake Biondi, but your books are the BOMB DIGGITY. They all should be television episodes. I can hardly wait for SEASON 4.

After reading the first two books I couldn't imagine what else could happen to these people. Evidently my imagination is no where as active as Jake Biondi's. Of course that is why he's a great writer and I'm simply a reader.
Derek has me so confused....he loves Joyelle and wanted a family with her. He loves Cole and tells him to be patient but then tried to get rid of him ( but not before a few rounds of hot sex). Max and Emmett are opening a business together and two new employees are apparently not who they seem. Logan is turning to alcohol again. Jesse has done some reprehensible acts while Ben has lost his ever loving mind. Oh, Justin...not certain what he's up to with Gino. Rachel is trying to convince Marco to marry her while doing everything she can to destroy those who had nothing to do with her dead brother ( convicted drug dealer, who thought kidnapping and rape were acceptable behaviors.) I still don't trust David even though he's acting like a good guy. I'm not going to tell everything that is going on. It's a great read and so full of action, deception, revenge, lust, and down right mayhem. I'm learning that there isn't a quiet day in Boystown. We have seen the first book ending with a kidnapping and murder. The second with a car bomb and this one is just as frightening. Get the book and hold on for a very action packed experience.
The third book in this series continues with the feud between the Mancini's and the Ciancio's and it becomes very heated.The Ciancio's continue to try and take down the Mancini's but there is no way Derek is going to stand for that. With the Mancini patriarch dead he leaves the company to his four sons but only three are known. Both families need to find the fourth son to let him know that he is heir to the company and try to get him on their side.
Ben and Jesse are up to their old tricks fighting each other to prove themselves to Jacqueline. Ben still can't forget about what Jesse did to him and Jesse can't forget about what Ben did to him.
Rachel, the devious bitch that she is has something evil in mind that involves Emmett and Keith. It seems she is trying to get revenge for her brothers untimely death.
Joyelle and Derek are having problems after she remembered what happened at New Year's Eve and turns to her Doctor friend. Meanwhile David the therapist has his eyes on Cole. Could this be the beginning of a new romance.
There are twists and turns on every page of this book and you never know what is going to happen which makes the reading so wonderful.
Make sure you give the third book a read and on November 13, episode 4 is being released. This is another 5 stars.
This is definitely a made for TV Series.... The lives of so many close friends are changed in the most dramatic ways. The story line remains strong carrying through from the first 2 Episodes. The characters are very well developed on so many levels. The story provides all the action, drama, suspense, emotions, and Sex that continue to cause the story to explode with unbelievable events. The story starts out with the New Year's Party that is celebrating Emmett and Max's engagement. But a film of Derek and Cole's love for each other is revealed, then all Hell breaks loose. As they evacuate the hotel, a limousine explodes and another scene takes place within the hotel which begins the changes of the lives of all these friends. The story is a very fast moving, action packed, story which is heart wrenching, gripping, sit on the edge of your seat episode. The characters are so intertwined with each other, that one affects the other. The Mancini and Ciancios Families feud continues to play a dangerous component with the Ciancios Family trying to destroy the other. I must say the lies, deceit, hurt, and the hate plays throughout the story. And yes there are some really BAD guys in this novel. Can these couples survive?? Emotionally and Physically.... Another cliff hanger with a lot of lives in the balance. Love these episodes. Jake has done a Brilliant job with this ongoing series that you just can't get away from. I feel that these first 3 episodes are just a real taste of what is yet to come. It is a Must Read!!
